Ir de compras es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer, me relaja y me ayuda a salir de la rutina. A lo largo del año me apretó el cinturón, pero cuando llegan las rebajas tiro la casa por la ventana. Aquí en España tenemos dos temporadas de rebajas principales: una en invierno y otra en verano, donde las tiendas, incluso las más caras, ofrecen unos descuentos increíbles en sus productos.

 

El único problema es que generalmente termino dejando una pasta en cosas que no necesito. Para evitar esto, he intentado hacer una lista de las cosas que realmente necesito antes de ir al centro comercial. No siempre funciona, pero al menos me ayuda a centrar mi atención en las cosas realmente importantes. 

 

Una de las cosas que más me distrae es la publicidad, ¡Dios! esos carteles que dicen que todo está con el setenta por ciento de descuento son muy llamativos e irresistibles; ¿y quién no quiere ahorrar algo de dinero? No te ha pasado que vas de compras por una camisa y vuelves a casa con un par de zapatos, un reloj, un cinturón y tres camisas en vez de una?

 

Bueno, pues a mí si me has pasado y la culpa de todo la tienen esos carteles con números gigantes. De todos modos, creo que comprar en temporada de rebajas es una buena idea pues es fácil encontrar buenos chollos y así el bolsillo no sufre tanto. Lo único que no me gusta de las rebajas es que hay mucha gente en las tiendas y por lo general es más difícil encontrar tu talla de ropa o zapatos porque todo el mundo está comprando a lo loco.

[EN] The only problem is that I usually end up spending a lot of money on things I don't need. To avoid this, I've tried to make a list of the things I really need before I go to the mall. It doesn't always work, but at least it helps me focus my attention on the really important things. 

[KO]  유일한 문제는 바로 보통 결국 필요하지 않은 것을 사는데 돈을 쓴다는 것이다. 이걸 방지하기 위해, 쇼핑을 가기 전에 실제 필요한 물건들의 목록을 만들려고 노력한다. 이게 항상 지켜지지는 않는다. 그러나 최소한 실제 중요한 물건들에 집중할 수 있도록 도와준다.

[EN] One of the things that distracts me the most is advertising, God, those signs that say everything is seventy percent off are so eye-catching and irresistible; and who doesn't want to save some money? Haven't you ever gone shopping for a shirt and come home with a pair of shoes, a watch, a belt and three shirts instead of one?

[EN] Well, it has happened to me, and I blame it all on those signs with the giant numbers on them. Anyway, I think that shopping in the sales season is a good idea because it is easy to find good bargains and so the pocket does not suffer so much. The only thing I don't like about the sales is that there are a lot of people in the stores and it's usually harder to find your size of clothes or shoes because everyone is shopping like crazy.
