포르투갈어 OPI 시험 정보 검색을 해 보니...

포르투갈어 OPI 첫 시험을 4월 말쯤 보려고 합니다. 영어 OPIc와는 다르게 포르투갈어 OPI 시험에 대한 정보는 인터넷에서 찾을 수 없었습니다. 딱 한 분이 후기를 올려주셨습니다. 네이버 블로거 "허블망원경 : 유림의 세상 보기"입니다. 2019년에 브라질 교환학생을 가시기 위해 OPI 시험을 봐야 했고, 그때 올리신 글입니다.

그 외에는 포르투갈어 OPI 시험 후기가 올라온 글을 찾을 수 없었습니다.

혹시나 해서 Google에서 영어로 OPI Portuguese 시험에 대한 후기가 없을까 검색을 해 보았지만 제 능력으로는 찾을 수 없었습니다. 

 

결국, 영어 OPIc를 시험을 위해 준비했던 콘텐츠들을 재활용해서 포어버전으로 만들어야 할 것 같습니다. "그래도 컴퓨터로 문제 은행에서 골라서 출제되는 것과는 다르지 않을까?" 라는 생각에 한국 OPIC 홈페이지와 ACTFL 홈페이지에 들어가 보았습니다.

그래도 무언가 도움이 될 만한 팁은 없을까? 조금 더 구글링을 해 보았는데, 일반적인 수준의 안내 정도밖에 없었습니다.

It may sound funny and ridiculous to some, but this one is very effective when developing your speaking skills.  And also, incorporate calmness in the way you talk, practice a regulated speed while talking and avoid speaking too fast. If you do jabber, the tendency is that you will sound stressed and incomprehensible to your listener. Finally, note that the OPI test is like casual communication between colleagues. So be yourself and speak with confidence.

결국 제가 내린 결론은

영어 OPIc을 위해 만들어 두었던 콘텐츠들을 포어 버전으로 연습을 하고, 그 콘텐츠들을 말할 때 필요한 어휘들을 집중적으로 외우고 연습을 해야 한다는 것입니다. 

 

작년 11월부터 지금까지는 최대한 많은 입력을 넣어 주는 것이었습니다. 

• 12편의 브라질 영화를 시청하며, 단어와 표현 정리 (반복은 안함)
• 다양한 브라질 Youtube를 시청하며, 가능한 부분은 쉐도잉
• 인터넷 신문 기사를 출력해서 읽고 모르는 단어 찾아보기
• "나의 라임 오렌지 나무" 책 읽기 (하루에 2~4페이지)

 

 

이제는 시험에 좀 집중을 해야 할 것 같습니다.

• 영어 OPIc을 준비할 때 만들어 두었던 내용들을 기반으로 스토리를 다시 반복적으로 리마인드 하기
• 각 스토리들을 풀어낼 때 필요한 어휘들 중에 모르는 것들 정리해서 익히기
• 영어의 Filler에 해당하는 포르투갈어 표현들 익히기
• 각종 전치사구, 접속사 등을 잘 활용할 수 있도록 익히기
• 유용한 관용구 익히고 활용하기

일단 4월 말에 시험을 보는 것을 목표로 진행해 보겠습니다.
