Por lo general me considero una persona honesta y sincera, intento decir siempre la verdad pues he aprendido que uno cosecha lo que siembra y que las cosas malas que hacemos tarde o temprano se nos devuelven.

Sin embargo, existen situaciones particulares en las que decir la verdad se convierte en un verdadero calvario, pues corremos el riesgo de herir sensibilidades o provocar problemas mayores que no solo nos afectan a nosotros sino a otras personas.

Es en tales situaciones donde nos vemos obligados a usar lo que comúnmente se conoce como “mentiras piadosas” para hacer nuestra vida más fácil y evitar conflictos innecesarios.

Un ejemplo muy claro es cuando nos preguntan si nos ha gustado un regalo que nos han dado y, a pesar de que realmente no nos gusta, preferimos mentir y decir que nos ha parecido un regalo estupendo, pues así evitamos herir los sentimientos de la otra persona o dar una imagen de desagradecidos.

Otro ejemplo es cuando nuestra pareja, a la que generalmente no le gusta cocinar, nos prepara una cena romántica sorpresa, pero lamentablemente la comida sabe a demonios, entonces mentimos y decimos que todo está delicioso porque no queremos que se sienta mal y además porque no queremos arruinar aquel bello momento.

Sé que muchos pueden pensar que este es un comportamiento hipócrita, pero yo prefiero verlo mejor como un gesto compasivo hacia los demás; no se trata de decir amén a todo y aceptar las cosas que no nos gustan sin poder expresar lo que realmente sentimos, se trata de ser asertivos y hacerlo en el lugar y momento adecuados y teniendo siempre presente que debemos tratar a los demás tal y como quisiéramos ser tratados.

hacer nuestra vida más fácil: "hacer + 목적어 + 형용사"의 형태로 목적어를 형용사하게 만들다. 마치 영어의 make + 목적어 + 형용사와 같은 형태이다. 잘 익혀서 활용하면 좋을 듯하다.
