스페인어 관용 표현 idiomática, 계절 02 - 봄, Primavera

스페인어 관용표현 중 봄과 연관이 있는 단어가 사용된 것들입니다. 둥지 nido, 토끼 liebre, 양 cordero, 개구리 rana, 부활절 Pascuas의 단어가 사용되었습니다. "봄"과 별 연관이 없어 보이긴 합니다만, Lingolia에서 봄으로 분류를 하고 있네요. 어쨌든 우리의 목적은 다양한 어휘와 표현을 접하고 익히는 것이니 상관 없습니다.

봄과 관련된 관용 표현, Sobre la primavera

 

 

 

▶ salir del nido

:  leaving the nest → becoming independent from parents

: 둥지를 떠나다 → 부모로부터 독립하다 

✒️ Por fin mi hermano ha comprado un piso y ha salido del nido. → Finally my brother has bought an apartment and has left the nest.

마침내 내 형제는 아파트를 구입했고 독립했다. 

piso: nm. floor, apartment, flat, story, deck, 바닥, 층, 아파트, 밟기
Mi primo vive en el décimo piso del edificio. → My cousin lives on the tenth floor of the building.
La vista desde el piso superior del autobús era impresionante. → The view from the upper deck of the bus was amazing.
nido: nm. nest, hiding place
La cigüeña hizo su nido en lo alto del campanario. → The stork built its nest on the top of the bell tower.

 

 

▶ levantar la liebre 

: raise the hare → uncover a secret, blow the gaff, uncover

: 비밀을 발설하다. 

✒️ El periodista levantó la liebre y muchos responsables fueron detenidos. → The journalist raised the hare and many responsible were arrested.

그 저널리스트는 비밀을 폭로했고 많은 사람들이 체포되었다.

El periodista destacó las noticias más importantes del día. → The journalist highlighted the most important news of the day.
liebre: nf. hare, pacemaker, 산토끼, 페이스메이커, 겁쟁이
ser liebre corrida (Mexico) to be an old hand: ~에 익숙하다. 숙련되다.
detenido: a. arrested, siezed, 잡힌, 체포된, 차단된
detener: v. stop, arrest, shut sth down, seize, 멈추다, 세우다, 저지하다, 체포하다
La conductora detuvo el taxi en la intersección. → The driver stopped the taxi at the intersection.
La policía detuvo a los sospechosos.  →The police arrested the suspects.

 

▶ dar gato por liebre

: give cat for hare → deceiving someone by giving them something they are not

: 질이 떨어진 비슷한 물건으로 속이다, 사기치다. 속이다. 

✒️ En el restaurante me aseguraron que se trataba de un plato vegano. Después descubrí que me habían dado gato por liebre y habían cocinado con clara de huevo. → The restaurant assured me that it was a vegan dish. I later found out that they had conned me and cooked it with egg whites.

식당에서 직원은 그 요리는 비건이라고 했다.  그런데 나중에 나를 속였다는 것을 알았다. 그 요리에는 계란 흰자가 들어있었다. 

asegurar: v. ensure, assure, insure, secure, warrant
Una dieta equilibrada asegura el desarrollo saludable.  →A balanced diet ensures healthy growth.
Le aseguré a mi madre que me ocuparía de todo. → I assured my mother that I would take care of everything.
El vendedor aseguró que el producto era el mejor del mercado. → The seller warranted the product was the best in the market.
tratar: v. deal with, treat, handle, discuss
La comisión tratará este asunto la próxima semana.  →The commission will deal with this issue next week.
Esta empresa trata bien a sus trabajadores. → This company treats its workers well.
Tratamos las antigüedades con sumo cuidado.  →We handle the antiques with great care.
descubrir: v. discover, find (out), uncover, detect
Los niños pequeños descubren algo nuevo cada día.  →Small children discover something new every day.
He descubierto un restaurante agradable cerca de mi nueva casa. → I have found a nice restaurant near my new home.
La investigación policial descubrió la verdad.  →The police investigation uncovered the truth.

 

▶ ¡La madre del cordero!

: expression of surpris, the trouble!, the crux/fact of the matter

: 감탄사로 사용되는데, 부정적인 상황에서 사용됨.  

✒️ ¡La madre del cordero! Se me ha quemado la lasaña. → The mother of the lamb! My lasagna has burned.

으악! (양의 엄마! 어떻게 해석을 달아야 할런지...) 라자냐가 다 탔네!  

quemar: v. burn, sear, flame
Me quemé el dedo accidentalmente mientras cocinaba. → I accidentally seared my finger while cooking.

 

▶ ser un lobo con piel de cordero

: being someone dangerous who looks innocent

: 양의 탈을 쓴 늑대이다. 

✒️ Mi vecina parece simpática pero no me fío de ella. Es un lobo con piel de cordero. → My neighbor seems nice but I don't trust her. She is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

나의 이웃은 친절한 것 같지만 난 그들을 신뢰하지 않는다. 그들은 양의 탈을 쓴 늑대이다.

fiar: v. sell on credit, give credit, be trustworthy, 외상판매하다, 보증하다, 맡기다, 신뢰하다
de fiar: reliable, trustworthy
me fió la comida  →he let me have the food on credit 외상으로 음식을 주다
lobo: nm. wolf
El lobo mostró su sumisión al macho(male) alfa. → The wolf showed its submission to the alpha male.

 

 

▶ salir algo rana

: go wrong or in a way you didn't expect

: 기대에 어긋나다, 실패하다

✒️ Ayer me compré una batidora y hoy se me ha roto. Me ha salido rana. → Yesterday I bought a blender and today it broke. It has gone wrong.

어제 나는 믹서기를 샀다. 그리고 오늘 고장났다. 망했다.

batidora: nf. mixer, blender
Utilizo la batidora para hacer purés de frutas o verduras. → I use the blender to make fruit or vegetable purées.
roto: a. broken, torn, worn-out, romper의 과거분사
El mecánico reparó el cojinete roto. The mechanic repaired the broken bearing.
romper: v. break, break up, tear, wear out, break down
Accidentalmente rompí un plato mientras lo lavaba.  → I accidentally broke a plate while washing it.
Mi hermana y su novio rompieron después de dos años juntos. → My sister and her boyfriend broke up after two years together. 
rana: nf. frog
La bruja mala convirtió a la princesa en una rana. → The evil witch turned the princess into a frog.

 

▶ la primavera, la sangre altera

: When spring arrives, people are more restless

봄이 오면, 사람들은 차분하지 못하다. 직역은 봄이 오면 피가 변한다인데, 봄에는 동물이나 사람의 행동에 변화가 나타나는 것을 의미한다. 🤔 어떤 상황에서 사용하는지 정확히 알 수 없었다. 말 그대로 봄이 왔다고 말하는 건가?

✒️ - María, concéntrate.
- Me resulta muy difícil. Ya sabes que la primavera, la sangre altera.
→ - Maria, concentrate.
- It is very difficult for me. You know that in spring, the blood changes.

마리아, 집중해. 

집중하기 어려워요. 봄이 오면 피가 변한다는 거 알잖아요. 

sangre: nf. blood
Rellené un formulario con mis datos antes de donar sangre. → I completed a form with my details before donating blood.

 

▶ de Pascuas a Ramos

: very occasionally

: 이따금, 때때로 (부활절부터 종려주일까지)

✒️ Nos vemos de Pascuas a Ramos. → See you from Easter to Palm Sunday.
가끔 만나자.

Pascuas: nf. Ester 부활절, 크리스마스 기간으로도 사용되는 듯함 (Collins 사전)
Ramos: nm. Domingo de Ramos = Palm Sunday 종려주일 (성지주일)
기독교에서 종려주일에 종려나무 가지를 심자고상에 걸어 놓는다.
ramo: nm. bouquet, bunch, branch, field, section, department 의미로 사용됨
