스페인어 관용 표현 idiomática, 신체01 - 머리, 팔, 손 사용

어느 언어든지 단어의 뜻은 아는데 의미 해석이 안 되는 경우가 있습니다. 스페인어의 관용표현, idiomática에 대해 정리하는 첫 번째 포스팅입니다. 이제부터 어휘도 집중적으로 익혀야 하므로, 예문들에 있는 단어도 함께 정리를 하려고 합니다.

신체 중 머리, 팔, 손이 포함된 관용 표현

 

 

머리, Cabeza가 사용된 표현

▷ ser un cabeza hueca, tener la cabeza hueca

: being dumb 멍청하다

 

✒️Mi hermano no sabe de absolutamente nada. Es un cabeza hueca.

→ My brother knows absolutely nothing. He is an airhead.

- hueco: a. hollow, empty
- cabeza hueca: airhead
- hermano: nm. brother

 

▷ traer de cabeza a algn = to drive somebody mad

 무언가에 대한 걱정/생각을 매우 많이 하다. 아이고 머리야! 미치겠다! 정도의 의미

 

✒️ Mi hijo me trae de cabeza. →  My son is giving me a hard time.

     나의 아들 때문에 미치겠다. or 내 아들이 참 걱정이다.
✒️ Este problema de matemáticas me trae de cabeza. → This math problem is driving me crazy.

      이 수학문제를 나는 무지 많이 생각하고 있다.  

traer: v. bring, carry, fetch
  Los invitados trajeron una botella de vino a la cena.
  Mi madre es la que trae el dinero.

 

✒️ Al horario comercial trae de cabeza a los consumidores. → shopping hours are a headache for consumers

 

 

▷ calentar la cabeza a alguien: 누군가를 성가시게 하다

직역하면 머리를 뜨겁게 하다이다. 대상이 무언가를 하도록 촉구하는 것을 의함

✒️ Mi amiga me ha contado tantas veces lo mismo que ya me está calentando demasiado

      la cabeza con el tema.

    →  My friend has told me that thing so many times that she's already making 

          my head too hot on the subject.

- contar: v. count, tell Le conté a la policía todo lo que había visto.
- calentar: v. heat, warm up Mi madre calentó la cena en el horno.
- demasiado: a. too much, demasiados = too many / ad. too, too much
   La pizza grande era demasiado para ella.

 

✒️ tras calentarle mucho la cabeza han conseguido convencerlo. → after endlessly pestering him they finally convinced him

✒️ le calentaron los cascos hasta que se metió en la pelea. → they egged him on until he finally joined in the fight

 

 

팔, Brazo가 사용된 표현

▶ ser el brazo derecho de alguien 

: 누군가의 오른팔이 되다. 신뢰받는 사람이 되다.

✒️ Mi jefe tiene mucha confianza en Virginia. Ella es su brazo derecho. → My boss has a lot of confidence in Virginia. She is his right arm.

- jefe: nm. boss, head, leader, chief
- confianza: confidence 신뢰, 자신(감), 확신
- derecho: a. straight, right, right-hand, honest / nm. law, justice, right, rights, duty, fee

 

▶ dar el brazo a torcer: to give way, give in

: 단념하다. 양보하다

✒️ Mi padre es muy testarudo. Nunca da su brazo a torcer. → My father is very stubborn. He never gives in.

- testarudo: a. stubborn, pigheaded 완고한, 고집센

 

 

손, Mano가 사용된 표현

▶ echar una mano: lend or give sb a hand

: 누군가를 도와주다.  ayudar a alguien

✒️ Voy a echar una mano a mi primo con su mudanza. → I'm going to give my cousin a hand with his move.

- ehcar: v. throw (out), put, pour, give
   échame las llaves → throw me the keys
  ¿te echo más whisky? → shall I pour you some more whisky?
- mudanza: nf. change, move

 

 

▶ tener/estar algo a mano

: 가까운 곳에 있다. very close, nearby

✒️ He metido el mapa en el primer bolsillo para que esté a mano.

     → I have put the map in the first pocket so that it is close at hand.

- meter: v. put, score, 
  ¿dónde has metido las llaves? where have you put the keys?
▪ idiom: a todo meter (informal) (= rápido) as fast as possible
  ¡mete el acelerador! put your foot down!
- bolsillo: nm. pocket

 

✒️ Cerca del hotel tenemos a mano un centro comercial.

      → Near the hotel we have a shopping mall close at hand.

 

▶jugar una mano: play another game(보통 카드 게임)

✒️ Se ha hecho muy tarde para jugar otra mano. → It has become too late to play another game

- mano: nf. hand
  de manos a boca: unespectedly, suddenly

 

▶traerse algo entre manos: have something in mind, be up to

✒️ Mi hermana siempre tiene malas ideas. Seguro que no se trae nada bueno entre manos.

     → My sister always has bad ideas. I'm sure she's up to no good.

✒️ ¿qué os traéis entre manos? what are you up to?

✒️ se trae entre manos varios asuntos a la vez he’s dealing with several matters at once

- asunto: nm. matter, case, affair
  un asunto familiar grave → an urgent family matter
  no te metas en mis asuntos → mind your own business
  ¡esto es asunto mío! → that’s my business or affair!

신체 중에서 머리, 팔, 손의 단어가 사용된 관용어구를 몇 가지 적어 보았습니다. Lingolia에 있는 관용어구로 정리를 했는데, 하다 보니 사전 엄청나게 많은 관용어구가 더 나옵니다. 순간 이걸 해야 하나 고민을 했으나, 어차피 어휘와 문장을 익히는 과정이라서 일단 계속하는 것으로 결정했습니다. 

 

여기에 정리를 하는 것은 정말 스페인어 관용어구 중에서 빙산의 일각입니다.
